Easily add an oil cooler to your LS-series engine with this expertly engineered take-off plate! Just unbolt the oil port cover above the oil filter, bolt the HyperFlow LS adapter in its place, and connect your lines.
The low-profile anodized aluminum plate features cooler in and out ports (M22 female threads), a sensor port (1/8 NPT female thread), and an extra port which can be used to supply cooled oil to your turbo. The oil feed comes from the stock filter exit, so all oil going to your cooler is already filtered. A built-in thermostat lets oil bypass the cooler until it reaches 180°F (82°C).
The M22 in and out ports are designed to accept any of the wide variety of Setrab M22 O-Ring Port Adapter Fittings (sold separately). Kit includes adapter plate with thermostat pre-installed, plate-to-engine O-ring seals, plugs for the 1/8 NPT ports,* mounting screws, and instructions.
* Note: The NPT plugs are installed dry and finger-tight at the factory for easy removal. You must use thread sealant and tighten them (or your senders and/or turbo feed line adapter) before use.
