Upgrade your braking with this complete kit from Wilwoood! The all-in-one set is built around the proven Forged DynaPro 4-piston calipers, mated to 11" Wilwood Spec-37 vented racing rotors. Everything is tailored to fit the 1990-05 Mazda MX-5 Miata*.
The DynaPro calipers have been sized to work properly with the stock master cylinder, brake booster, and rear brakes -- no other changes are needed! Special adapter brackets (included) allow the calipers to bolt to the stock front uprights. Even the mounting hardware and endurance racing brake pads** are included.
The Wilwood Spec-37 GT 72 Brake Rotors have 72 radial inner cooling vanes and a non-directional groove pattern on the friction surface, so both discs will work on either side of the car. Aluminum hats and centering rings to fit the stock Miata front hubs are included, along with rotor-to-hat attachment hardware.
Last but not least, the kit includes new race-spec braided stainless steel front brake hoses and all required adapters and sealing washers.
The only things you have to add are some Loctite® 271 (Red) High Strength Threadlocker, some racing brake fluid, and a Miata!
* Note: Requires 16" or larger wheels (may fit some 15" wheels depending on internal dimensions).
** The brake pads included in this kit are designed for the high temperatures encountered in endurance racing. Using these pads on the street for extended periods will lead to increased pad and rotor wear. We can recommend alternate brake compounds for street use.
