Brand: Facet-Purolator
This coarse filter replaces the internal filter in certain Facet Cylindrical ("Interrupter") Fuel Pumps. The polyester construction is compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends including E-85, and diesel fuel.
The 400 micron filter flows a little better than the more common 74 Micron Cylindrical Pump Filter (Part No. FAC-FEP42370), but it does not filter as finely.* The filter should be installed with the narrow opening facing towards the center of the pump. The wide opening should point towards the pump end cap.

* Most Facet Cylindrical pumps were originally supplied with the finer 74 micron filter. Only Facet pump numbers 40053, 40220, and 480534 (Pegasus Part No. 1106) were equipped with this 400 micron filter.
