Brand: Facet-Purolator
This very fine filter replaces the internal filter in Facet Cylindrical ("Interrupter") Fuel Pumps. The polyester construction is compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends including E-85, and diesel fuel.
The 74 micron filter catches smaller particles than the less common 400 Micron Cylindrical Pump Filter (Part No. FAC-479808), but it does not flow quite as freely.* The filter should be installed with the narrow opening facing towards the center of the pump. The wide opening should point towards the pump end cap.

* Most Facet Cylindrical pumps were originally supplied with this finer 74 micron filter. Facet pump numbers 40053, 40133, 40159, 40220, and 480534 (Pegasus Part No. 1106) did not use this filter.
