This kit from Ford Performance includes everything needed to install a new ring and pinion or differential in your Ford 8.8" live (solid) axle rear end. Includes an assortment of pinion and carrier shims, pinion and carrier bearings, axle shaft bearings, axle seals, crush sleeve, pinion seal, pinion nut, ring gear bolts, and rear cover gasket. The bearings in this "C3" kit are upgraded, Mustang GT (carrier) and Shelby GT500 (pinion) versions to handle high torque loads. Fits 1986-2004 axles. One kit is enough for one differential assembly.
IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) cars should use our Ford 8.8" Ring & Pinion Install Kit for IRS (Part No. M-4210-B), which includes everything in this kit except for the axle shaft bearings and axle seals.
