Brand: Wilwood Engineering
The DynaPro Single (DPS) is the latest generation of the proven Wilwood Dynalite Single (DLS) two-piston caliper. Finite Element Analysis of the original DLS design led Wilwood engineers to strengthen the transition area between the piston housings and bridges, resulting in less flex and deflection under load -- meaning that more braking force makes it from your foot to the disc.
The E-clip pad retainer replaces the old central retaining pin for more secure retention of brake pads and even faster brake pad changes. Heavy-wall stainless steel pistons resist corrosion and deflection under extreme pressure. Spring-loaded SRS bridge plates prevent the pads from digging into the aluminum caliper body, while also reducing pad rattle and squeal. Four bleed screws allow mounting on any corner, in virtually any orientation -- left front leading, right front trailing, left rear trailing...
This model has 1.38" pistons and leg mounts (0.39" bolt holes) spaced 3.25" center-to-center. It is designed to accomodate a 0.38" thick brake disc (minimum 0.25" thick) from 6" to 13" OD depending on the mounting bracket. Female 1/8 NPT threaded inlet port. Black anodized aluminum body with a silver etched Wilwood logo. Sold individually.
Requires Wilwood Type 6812 pad shape (pads sold separately). Note that the old 7012 pad shape for the DLS with a single central retaining pin hole will not work in the DPS caliper.
