Whether it's fiberglass, aluminum, or steel, automotive bodywork is both awkward and delicate. Leaning a freshly-painted fender or hood against a shop wall is just daring it to fall over, but you can't use up your workbench space. The compact 1364SE Bodywork Support from Beta Tools is an ideal solution!

When not in use, the 1364SE folds up to a compact 890mm Wide x 215mm Long x 780mm High (35" W x 8.5" L x 30.7" H) unit that can be rolled away for easy storage. It's even small enough to fit in a trailer! When you need it, the scissor-action "pantograph" sides allow you to extend it up to 1400mm Long (4' 7" L), with infinite adjustment in between. The two horizontal bar supports can be raised and locked into any of 5 vertical positions up to 1315mm High (4' 3.7" H) for a comfortable work height. The two bars can be raised independently to accommodate odd-shaped body panels.

The horizontal bars each have a removable rubber cover to protect against scratches. Four swivel casters (two with locks) allow you to move the 1364SE while loaded, much more easily than you could do with sawhorses or plain A-frame stands. The sturdy steel construction weighs just 16.7kg (36 lb 13 oz) for easy portability, but it can support up to 225kg (495 lb) evenly distributed. Black with white Beta logos only. Sold individually.

For an even softer surface, lay a piece of Roll Bar Padding (Part No. 2390, sold separately) on top of each horizontal bar.
