3/8 inch Aluminum Hood Pin, Set of 2

These light-duty 3/8 inch diameter pins are manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance, light weight, and great looks.

The pins measure 3 1/2 inches from the hairpin clip to the bottom of the hood pin. The bottom 2 1/8 inch of the pin is threaded (the pins are unthreaded 1 1/2 inches below the hairpin clip). Aluminum 1 1/2 inch diameter scuff plates, hairpin clips, and jam nuts are provided. Sold in pairs.

Note: Recommended for use with lightweight composite (fiberglass or carbon fiber) hoods only. If these are the only means of retaining the hood, a minimum of 6 pins (3 sets) are recommended.
