FireFlex consists of a high-temperature woven silicone/fiberglass fabric coated with a thick layer of silicone to prevent against heat up to 500°F. This heavy-duty sleeve is similar in construction to traditional Firesleeve, except with a slightly thinner woven fabric instead of the thick braided fabric (0.07" or 2mm nominal wall thickness). Snap Wrap also features metal snaps spaced 4 inches apart along the length so it can be wrapped around the hose without disconnecting anything. Great for protecting welding hoses, battery cable, wiring harnesses, shifter cables, and much more.
The non-conductive silicone covering resists all automotive chemicals, from oil to gasoline to brake fluid. It will not melt, delaminate, or become brittle from to -40°F to well over 500°F. Orange-red color only. Sold by the running foot. Each foot will have 3 snaps plus 2" free length at the end.
