Aeroquip StreetLite hose is specifically designed to be compatible with pump gasoline including ethanol blends up to E85. It can also handle oil, air, and coolant. The black fabric braided cover is lighter than a stainless steel braid and much less expensive than aramid. This hose also features a special barrier layer that minimizes vapor penetration -- no more gas smell in the garage!
StreetLite hose is the answer for anyone building a street vehicle with AN fittings in the fuel system. It uses the same standard AN hose ends as conventional stainless braided hose or Aeroquip StartLite hose, but it has much better compatibility with street fuels. The price is significantly less than PTFE-lined hose, so it won't break the bank.
The continuous temperature rating for all sizes is -40°F to 300°F. Made in USA. Note that the barrier layer makes this hose much stiffer than standard rubber-lined hose. Take your time bending it to avoid kinking! Warming the hose with a hot air gun or warm liquid also helps. Sold in 1 foot increments.
Note: SCCA rules currently require steel tubing or steel-braided hose for any fuel, oil, or coolant lines running through the cockpit. This hose is not NHRA-approved.
