Air Inlet, Extra-Small Rectangle, 6 x 3.5 inch, for 3" Hose

Our inlet ducts were designed using computer-aided analysis and wind tunnel testing for maximum air flow with minimal drag. They are molded from tough, high-impact black HDPE plastic. An integral flange (approximately 3/4" wide) makes them easy to rivet to body panels or bond to composite panels with epoxy.

This Extra-Small size has a centered outlet nipple that accepts our 3" duct hose (sold separately). Approximately 6" long x 3.75" wide rectangular opening is perfect for applications with limited space. Some cars can even fit this inlet in a headlight or fog light opening.

Note 1: These ducts are designed and built for racing use. They are not built for show cars. You can sand and paint them, but do not expect a "show-quality" finish out of the box.

Note 2: This duct is supplied as-molded, with the outlet uncut. You must do some cutting to open the outlet before use. This allows you to customize the diameter of the opening. Leaving a flange is a great way to help support a round filter plug made from open-cell foam which can be bonded into the duct outlet.
