Motul 8100 Eco-LITE is a 100% synthetic engine oil. The API SP standard requires superior cleanliness and protection against oxidation, wear, and deposits compared to the previous SN standard. The ILSAC GF-6A standard goes even further to require better fuel economy, extended drain intervals, and increased engine protection when running E85 fuel. The GM dexos1 standard is the toughest of all, requiring everything from the other two, plus specific fuel economy benefits and higher thermal resistance to prevent viscosity shift. All three Eco-Lite viscosities also meet Chrysler MS-6395 and FIAT 9.55535-CR1 requirements.
Eco-LITE 0W-20 also meets the performance requirements of Ford M2C 947-A, 947-B1, and 962-A1; and GM dexos1 GEN3.
Eco-LITE 5W-20 also meets the performance requirements of Ford M2C 930-A, 945-A, 945-B1, and 960-A1; and GM 6094A and dexos1 GEN2.
Eco-LITE 5W-30 also meets the performance requirements of Ford M2C 929-A, 946-A, 946-B1, and 961-A1; and GM 6094M/4718M and dexos 1 GEN3.
