Motul 8100 X-clean EFE is a 100% synthetic engine oil formulated to deliver Extra Fuel Economy in normally aspirated or turbo/supercharged gasoline and diesel engines. It is also fully compatible with biofuels up to B10 diesel and E85 gasoline.
Satisfies API SN and ACEA C2 and C3 standards. The API SN standard requires superior cleanliness and protection against oxidation, wear, and deposits compared to the previous SM standard. The ACEA C2 standard requires significant friction reduction for gains in fuel economy. The ACEA C3 standard requires significant oil film resistance and emissions cleanliness in powerful engines.
By meeting or exceeding all of those standards, Motul 8100 X-clean EFE 5W-30 has earned approvals from BMW (LL-04 including Mini and Rolls-Royce models), Fiat (9.55535-S1, also covers Alfa-Romeo, Chrysler, and Lancia), GM/Opel (dexos2® and Opel/Vauxhall OV0401547), Mercedes-Benz (229.52), and VW (505 01).
