Beta Tools sparkproof tools are constructed of a special copper-beryllium (Cu-Be) alloy for safe use in potenially explosive environments. Beta Tools Cu-Be tools are certified non-sparking under European Directive 99/92/EC. They are also perfectly antimagnetic and corrosion-resistant.
The 42BA Series Sparkproof Combination Wrenches have one open end (15° angle) and one offset 12-point box end. Both ends of this wrench fit fasteners with a 70mm hex. Measures 630mm long overall. Sold individually.
Note 1: Copper-beryllium tools are not safe for use in contact with acetylene. Acetylene can react with the copper to form copper acetylide, a powerful and very dangerous explosive.
Note 2: This 70mm size is not a standard production item and is not immediately available from stock. Beta Tools will only manufacture this size on request. Lead times depend on the surrounding production schedule.
