Cutting small-diameter, thin-wall plastic tubing with a wheel-type pipe cutter can be a frustrating experience. The Model 341 plier-type shears from Beta Tools are designed to cut plastic tubing up to 1" diameter. The pointed blade acts as a double wedge to slice through tubing quickly and easily. The V-shaped anvil jaw helps to hold the tubing in place while cutting. Stops built into the handles help to protect the blade from smashing into the anvil. The blade is easily replaced when it gets dull or damaged. Measures 190mm (7 1/2") long overall. Weighs 285g (10 oz). Beta orange. A black plastic cover over the joint has the model number and Beta logo in white.
The Model 341 works great on rubber hose, too! Use it on rubber fuel line, heater hoses, or rubber oil hoses. Not for use on metal or on hoses with a metal reinforcement (e.g., stainless braid).
