This ball joint is perfect for throttle cables and throttle linkages. It is similar to a rod end, but with a quick-release 10-32 male stud for attachment. The body has a matching 10-32 female thread.
The body is held onto the ball stud with a spring-loaded sleeve. Simply push the sleeve down (towards the cable) to release the stud for quick cable length adjustments. This fitting adds 0.56" to the length of your cable when screwed all the way in.
