Brand: Beta Tools
Don't take a chance on damaging an expensive alternator trying to remove or install a clutch-type pulley (OAP or OAD) with an impact gun! Do the job right by using the proper tools. The 1489 Series from Beta Tools are designed specifically to fit the drive types used on modern free-spin alternator pulleys.
This tool has three pins on one side to fit the pulley shaft on Nippondenso alternators (used on many Toyota and new Mini vehicles). The large bore allows you to insert another tool (sold separately) through this tool to turn the rotor shaft (OAD pulleys). The 32mm outer hex lets you use a wrench (sold separately) to hold or turn the pulley shaft.
Sold individually. Rotor shaft tool and 32mm wrench sold separately.
This tool is also available as part of the complete Beta Tools 1489/C14 Set of 14 Tools for Clutch-Type Alternator Pulleys, Part No. BT-014890100.
Note: For use with hand tools only! Using an impact wrench will damage this tool and may cause injury. Using impact tools will void the warranty.
