Racing rules tell you to remove your glass headlights. So why not put that new hole to work feeding cold air to your engine?
This high-quality, light-weight cover adds a great finishing touch to your racecar. It replaces a standard 5 3/4" round sealed-beam headlight* and is held in place by your stock retainer ring (not included). The center is shaped like an air horn, smoothly funneling air into your 4" air duct hose (sold separately). Sold individually.
This air inlet cover is a perfect match to our Spun Aluminum 5.75" Headlight Blanking Cover (Part No. 3610-005, sold separately).
* Note: The smaller 5 3/4" size was only allowed in the USA beginning in 1957, and was being phased out beginning in the mid-1980s. American-market cars from 1940 through 1956 were required to have larger 7" sealed-beam headlamps.
