This sensor uses a magnet to send throttle or brake position data to your MyChron4 or MyChron5 kart data logger.
Simply install the magnet on the pedal near the pivot, and install the sensor in front of the magnet on the chassis. Connect the sensor to your MyChron Expansion box (Part No. MC-022, sold separately) and calibrate using the calibration page on your dash.
Measures up to 35mm of pedal travel (magnet-to-sensor distance must be no less than 5mm at full throttle and no more than 40mm at zero throttle). Can be used on either brake or throttle pedal. Requires MyChron Expansion, sold separately. Kit includes sensor, magnet, bracket kit, and 1 meter (3 ft) 719-to-712 (4-pin) adapter cable.
Note: This sensor is designed and set up for use on karts with the MyChron4 or MyChron5 dash with the MyChron Expansion only. This sensor is not listed in the Race Studio configuration software.
