Facet Electric Fuel Pumps WITH Positive Shut-Off Valves
Fuel can NOT be pulled forwards through these pumps when they are turned off
Each of these Facet electrical fuel pumps is equipped with a positive shut-off (anti-siphon) valve. This valve is designed to positively stop fuel from flowing out of the tank when the pump is turned off.
An anti-siphon valve is a good idea in installations where the tank is higher than the engine, or when cutting off the fuel supply is critical to stopping a running engine.
Note that none of the Facet Posi-Flo series pumps have a positive shut-off valve.
