AN Hose Ends & Aramid Braided StartLite Racing Hose
The Startlite aramid braided Racing Hose (Part No. 3492-size) shown below is suitable for use in oil, coolant, and pneumatic system plumbing.
We recommend our 910 PTFE-Lined Aramid Braided Racing Hose (Part No. 3490-Size) for fuel system plumbing.
Brake and clutch systems should use our Braided Stainless PTFE Hose in 3AN or 4AN sizes (Part No. 3260-Size).
Note: AN nomenclature can be confusing because the nominal size does not refer to the size of the threads or the OD of the hose. If the sizes are confusing you, please have a look at our Technical Document explaining The Logic Behind AN Hose and Fitting Sizes.
