These special hose ends fit our standard Braided Stainless Steel AN Racing Hose (Part No. 3270-Size) as well as Aeroquip Startlite Racing Hose (Part No. 3492-Size). Instead of a female AN fitting, each hose end has a male NPT fitting for a direct connection to any female NPT port. This eliminates bulk and a potential leak point by doing away with an NPT to AN adapter fitting.
The NPT end swivels independently of the hose end. This allows you to tighten the NPT fitting without rotating the hose. It also prevents the weight of the hose from turning the NPT fitting. The hose end potion can also swivel relative to the 90 degree angle portion, allowing you to clock the fitting in whatever direction you need without twisting the hose. These reusable aluminum hose ends are red and blue anodized for corrosion protection and to provide a professional appearance. The cutter-style installation digs in between the layers at the end of the hose for maximum security.
