This special 74 micron filter is recommended by Facet for use on the inlet side of Cube-Style or Posi-Flo fuel pumps* to add an extra layer of protection to your fuel system. The transparent housing lets you monitor the condition of the non-replaceable polyester filter element inside.
The inlet end of the housing has an SAE J2044 type push-on fitting. The outlet end has a male 1/8 NPT fitting* recessed deep inside. The recess (1" ID x 1" deep) wraps the filter element around the inlet spigot on Facet cube-style and Posi-Flo pumps for a compact installation. Note that this arrangement prevents using this filter on pumps such as the Gold-Flo (cylindrical) or Dura-Lift series. Housing measures 2.1" OD x 2.1" long.
Compatible with gasoline, ethanol blends to E85, and diesel fuel (including biodiesel), and fuel additives. This filter is not designed to be disassembled.
* Note that a few Facet Cube-Style fuel pumps do not have a 1/8 NPT inlet port. Please be sure to check your pump!
