These precision gaskets are designed to make all other valve cover gaskets obsolete. The high-temperature silicone construction allows the gasket to crush -- without extruding outwards -- much more than an old-fashioned cork gasket for better sealing.

Simply clean your valve cover, spread a thin bead of RTV sealant around the flange to hold the gasket in place, and install the gasket. Give the RTV at least 8 hours to cure and install your cover with the hold-down hardware just past finger-tight.
